This modern Impressions Linium kitchen provides an ideal space for the entire family - and a few furry companions! After moving into a stunning Gothic-style townhouse, Mike’s family noticed the absence of a social, communal area. Determined to solve this, Mike extended their home, creating a bright, airy, open-plan kitchen where everyone could gather.
SOCIAL SPACES, STYLISH DESIGNS
Keeping things local (we love to see it!), Mike visited Exeter Kitchen Store to turn his kitchen dreams into reality. Jack, our Assistant Showroom Manager, eagerly took on the project and recommended a U-shaped kitchen layout with bar seating – perfect for keeping the social vibes flowing.
With a modern aesthetic in mind, Mike chose our Impressions Linium doors in Light Grey and Dust Grey – a stylish, timeless combo that makes a statement without overpowering the space. These colours complement each other beautifully, leaving the kitchen feeling fresh while still allowing the family to inject their own personality and flair.
The kitchen also features integrated BOSCH appliances, a Quooker tap, a magic corner unit, sleek glass drawerbox sides, a pull-out waste bin, and a 20mm Quartz Valencia worktop. A venting hob keeps the U-shaped layout open, enhancing flow and sociability.
KITCHEN FULL OF PAWS
Mike’s absolute favourite part of the kitchen is the storage. It offers him an abundance of space to neatly pack away everything a busy family could possibly need, from pantry staples to cooking gadgets, keeping the area wonderfully organized and clutter-free. He especially enjoys the sense of calm and order this brings, as it allows him to move around freely and focus on preparing meals without distractions.
The kitchen also happens to be a favourite spot for his cat, who adores being there as much as Mike does. The cat loves eating its dinner in the kitchen, hopping up onto the worktops, exploring every corner, and occasionally batting at small items, making the space feel lively and full of character.
Safe to say, Mike and his family are over the moon with their new space - and we’re thrilled to have been part of their journey!
