MODERN INDUSTRIAL KITCHEN
KAREN & ADAM
THE DESIGN
Karen and Adam met with Designer Jack Woodcock hoping for a kitchen design that contrasted their light-coloured walls with a dark dramatic look. Solid oak accents were introduced throughout to attain warmth and charm.
Having discussed various colour options, they selected our Mornington Door in Graphite to match their large window frames and Dust Grey for the island to contrast. The cabinets are finished with cast iron knob handles with cup handles on drawers, further enhancing the unique and modern aesthetic.
The bespoke cabinetry seamlessly integrates the fridge freezer and ovens, surrounding the pale worktop where the induction hob lives. Jack’s smart design principles have opened up the space in the kitchen to ensure all the essentials are at hand whilst keeping it free from clutter.
The solid oak feature contrasts well with the dark cabinetry creating a cohesive sense of warmth in what we all know to be the heart of the home. The natural wood plays well with the industrial-style lighting that hangs over the island.
THE SECRET PANTRY
Next to the in-built ovens, you’ll find a secret pantry that features a real-wood spice rank. Offering great visibility and accessibility, the bespoke cabinet boasts adjustable shelving making it truly customisable to Karen and Adam’s needs.
THE RESULT
Karen and Adam’s kitchen designed alongside Jack Woodcock is a unique take on the modern industrial kitchen trend sweeping the nation. The use of colours, materials and textures has been perfectly balanced to bring their bold and impressive vision to life.
