WHY EXETER KITCHEN STORE?
Steve chose EKS for many reasons. Firstly, he liked that EKS offers locally manufactured kitchens (right here in Exeter!). He was also impressed that soft-close hinges come as standard, that the units would be supplied pre-assembled (saving on fitting costs) and that the service he received was very professional.
THE PROCESS
When discussing his kitchen with his designer, Steve found it very reassuring to hear his own ideas validated while at the same time being offered alternative suggestions. Steve valued his designers’ professional opinion and experience, which he found evident.
Steve found the hardest part of the process was removing the old kitchen, as he opted to do this himself. While having the kitchen removed was something that his fitter could have organised, Steve chose to do this himself. This helped him make a saving and allowed him to become more involved in the fitting of his kitchen.
FAVOURITE PART OF THE KITCHEN
Steve’s favourite part of his new kitchen is the splashback. He chose a painted splashback in the same colour as his grey walls. It is screwed in rather than glued, so it can be easily replaced, which leaves room for an affordable update down the line.
